Faith Allard, MBA
Executive Director

“The largest area of interest for me at Alaska Sleep is the community connections. I am a firm believer in partnerships in healthcare; partnerships with patients, providers, and others that make up the healthcare community in Alaska.”

Faith is a member of the Sault Ste Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians of Michigan. She holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage, Alaska where she was extended membership in the Honor Society for Business Administration, Sigma Beta Delta.

With a focus on rural healthcare development and strategic solutions analysis to further business and community goals, she also shepherded cost accounting improvements that brought a new perspective on the relative success of business management practices and patient management, achieving first-time accuracy in revenue cycle practices with first year revenue increases over 1.5 million dollars.

While serving as the Rural Hospital Flex Director Faith provided a communication conduit between rural hospitals and state/federal funding sources and developed a strong network within the state and across the nation that provided direct resources to over a dozen Critical Access Hospitals.

Faith’s career includes over two decades of healthcare administration in the rural health setting, including leadership roles in the Tribal Health System, the State of Alaska Department of Health and Social Services as the State Rural Hospital Flex Director, Steering Committee Member for CMS demonstration projects (FESC) and participation at the federal level for unique and innovative healthcare delivery to the most rural of communities, that provided her with a profound understanding of health care industry business practices, tribal self-governance, and rural healthcare delivery.

Faith maintains proficiency in her field by instructing Business Administration courses at a local Community College, exercising executive leadership at the Veteran Owned Small Business where she is part owner, and also by consulting with rural health organizations on funding and organizational development.

Harry Yuan, DO, MPH, FAAP, FACOP, FCCP, FAASM
Pediatric Medical Director

“As a physician in both pediatric sleep medicine and pediatric pulmonology, one must be familiar with the physiology of children as they develop from newborns into adulthood.  The adage of ‘kids are not small adults’ is truly applicable in these areas.  Since insomnia is the most common sleep problem in children, finding an effective therapy is crucial because parents and other family members are oftentimes affected as well.  It is very gratifying to witness the relief of families when their children are sleeping better.”

Dr. Yuan completed his pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of Michigan and his pulmonary / sleep fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
